Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the new theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. The producer was also of costumes/sets as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. For her last year, she was a director of lighting and design for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her roles include several other series in addition to acting. She is the daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his wife, poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. She was a student at Pomona College for a short time and then she graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) has been the wife of Post since 1982. They have two daughters. A wonderful actress and the perfect mother and wife. Post is an inspiration for many who work in Hollywood.
